Dr. Kim obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley with a double major in Molecular Cell Biology and Psychology, graduating summa cum laude. He graduated from Stanford University School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine internship year at St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco. Dr. Kim completed his radiology residency at Stanford University. He subsequently completed additional training in musculoskeletal and spine imaging with Dr. David Stoller at National Orthopedic Imaging Associates.
During the course of his career, Dr. Kim has authored multiple publications and presented at several national conferences with specific focus on musculoskeletal radiology, neuroradiology, and nuclear medicine. He was the recipient of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) trainee prize in nuclear medicine, American Society of Spine Radiology (ASSR) Symposium best presentation award and has been the recipient of numerous other research awards and grants.
