Dr. Nguyen is a native of the Bay Area and earned her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Davis in biological sciences and comparative literature. She graduated from Stanford School of Medicine and was given the Excellence in Radiology award for her graduating class. She completed her Internal Medicine internship at St. Mary’s Hospital in San Francisco and then moved to San Diego for radiology residency at the University of California, San Diego.
After serving as Chief Resident, she stayed on at UC San Diego for her musculoskeletal radiology fellowship with Dr Don Resnick and special emphasis on arthritis and MRI of sports injuries. Dr. Nguyen is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology.
In her free time, Dr. Nguyen enjoys being back in the Bay Area, hiking Muir woods and Yosemite, as well as sampling the area’s diverse cuisine.
