Dr. Bloomer has subspecialty expertise in Neuroradiology and specializes in Adult and Pediatric Neuroradiology, as well as head, neck and ophthalmologic imaging.  Additionally, she has subspecialty training in Trauma Radiology from the prestigious Ryder Trauma Center with interest in acute care imaging.

Dr. Bloomer obtained her undergraduate degree at the University of California at Berkeley, majoring in anthropology.  After completing a 3 year position in neurological imaging as a staff research associate at the University of California at San Francisco, she went on to obtain her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia.  She completed her residency at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital where she served as Chief Resident her final year. Dr Bloomer finished her training by completing a 2 year fellowship in Neuroradiology at the University of California San Francisco with emphasis on spinal interventional procedures. She is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology and has been awarded a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Neuroradiology.   She continues an active research interest with over 16 published peer-reviewed paper and book chapters as well as 24 abstracts.

Dr. Bloomer lives in San Francisco with her husband and infant son, Cole.  She enjoys running, practicing Spanish, traveling, and spending time with her family.
